ok, I want to write this right now before I forget or lose the train of thought. These are awesome and have huge potential for further exploration. You know I am a fan of working within a set of constraints, though I am sure that is not necessary for you/everyone… but, just working with these three elements of:
1. corner (object/ground, flatness/depth)
2. transparency/opacity
3. directionality (brushstroke)
…could be completely engaging and consuming. Maybe I have been reading too much about haiku, but i am recently feeling that the more you constructively limit yourself the more things open up. ex. Did you look at those Federle paintings???
